Someone asked me the other day, “What is the best skill to make money online?” I had to think about it for a while before I answered. Although I have made more than a few dollars online (and fairly consistently) I felt it necessary to do a little deeper research and think about others who have been in the business longer and made considerably more money than I had. When I’d sifted through all the internet success stories I had read over the years, a few things popped out at me. I would not necessarily conclude that I came up with any one best skill to make money online, but I did discover a few important traits of those who have had success. People ask me how much internet marketers earn, and I always answer, “It depends” which is a bit evasive but it really is the only fair answer. It isn’t my way to leave my audiences hanging so I typically make sure to give a little more of an answer than that. My answer varies, mind you, but it typically goes something like this.
