Someone asked me the other day, “What is the best skill to make money online?” I had to think about it for a while before I answered. Although I have made more than a few dollars online (and fairly consistently) I felt it necessary to do a little deeper research and think about others who have been in the business longer and made considerably more money than I had. When I’d sifted through all the internet success stories I had read over the years, a few things popped out at me. I would not necessarily conclude that I came up with any one best skill to make money online, but I did discover a few important traits of those who have had success. So Google Declares War is the big headline today. God I can’t IMAGINE how many articles and posts we’re going to see about THAT today! I for one am glad for the new change given I have always written 100% of my own article content. That’s not to say I haven’t used pre-made/pre-coded websites before – I have. But above and beyond those initial “plug and go” websites or words directly attributed to sources, every single word on my pages, posts, or sites is 100% mine. On the one hand it sure seems to me that the people who get the most content out the fastest seem to win the lion’s share of traffic and sales. Internet marketing training had to mainstream at some point, and thankfully now higher-educational institutions are finally catching the trend. The statistics don’t lie – a tweet by Khloe Kardashian online today is more than twice as likely to be clicked thru and read than any tweets outside the top five celebrity twitter users (source: onlinemarketing-trends.com).
