Constantly Feeling Tired | Fatigue Has Been the Bane of My Existence
Without question constantly feeling tired has been the status of my existence for the last decade of my life. Waking up tired, working tired, eating tired, always tired. I don’t know why or when the change happened, but as each year went by my friends and especially my family began to see less and less of me. I literally dreaded family gatherings – not because I did not love my family, but because my spirit and energy level was so low that I simply could not enjoy the company of others. Constantly feeling tired became so every day that I believed that this is just the way things were. People get older and they lose steam.
Enter A New Best Friend Who Opened My Eyes
When I met my friend Sandra, she greeted me with that wide smile of hers every time I saw her. I think we were both just about the same side of cynical, and our friendship quickly grew. When my landlord decided to convert her (my) apartment to an office, Sandra offered to let me stay at her place. Let me tell you something, living every day with someone can be a real eye-opener. I came to realize that I was coasting (down-hill) through life, and my energy level relative to Sandra’s (she’s several years older than I am) was dropping off quickly. I don’t she noticed, but believe me… if she didn’t initiate something… it simply didn’t happen. Like I said… I’m sure she didn’t notice, but I did. I had no drive. Without drive, lacking energy – life just either drifts or grinds to a halt. Constantly feeling tired is no way to live, and I needed to get help.
